The funeral took place on Sunday, February 12, 2023, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Monday, February 13, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The funeral home will be strictly off-limits to anyone who isn’t a visitor. The public is not invited to attend this event.
Amie Downs, a spokeswoman for Allegheny County, stated that only the McKeesport Police Department, the law enforcement escort, and the family would be present at the funeral procession, cemetery, and grave site ceremony.
Sean Sluganski Death Cause And Obituary
The 32-year-old Sean Slunganski was slain while on duty after being shot. When two police officers were looking for a person having a mental health crisis, they were shot at.
Shot, Sean was sent to UPMC McKeesport for medical attention. After additional investigation, the hospital determined that he had passed away. A second police officer was injured and taken to a Pittsburgh hospital.
It’s unclear where exactly he was killed by gunfire. The fact that he was shot in a potentially lethal area remains true notwithstanding the lack of details.

At 12:11 p.m. on the day Sean was killed, police in Allegheny County responded to a call about a domestic disturbance.
There was a report of a crazed gunman, police say.
The police attempted to question the suspect after receiving the complaints, but he fled without speaking to any of them.
According to the criminal complaint, the shooter was a 31-year-old man named Jonathan Jermia Moris living in McKeesport.
According to the Accuser, Morris told the Witness that the Police were plotting to assassinate him. He re-located to 1300 Grandview Avenue.
Responding police officer saw the suspect standing at 1300 Grandview avenue and heard gunshots as he approached the area.
Sean was shot during that incident, rushed to the hospital, and ultimately died there.
At Versailles Avenue, a third officer met the guy who had shot Sean and his colleague, Charles Thomas.
Again he drew his revolver and fired, but this time a bullet went in the wrong direction and struck the criminal.
Criminal homicide, first-degree murder of a law enforcement officer, and aggravated assault are the charges against Morris.
