Wyoming, Idaho, Alaska, Virginia, and Washington were used as shooting locations for Season 10 of Homestead Rescue. On February 28, 2023, the first episode of the season will air.
It debuted in June 2016 as a reality series on the Discovery Channel. The program has had nine seasons air, and a tenth is forthcoming.
The television series is about people from different parts of America who are tired of the frantic city life. They want to simplify their hectic lives by going off the grid.
The lack of experience has, nevertheless, greatly disappointed the homeowners. Due to their lack of knowledge, skills, and experience, the Raney family steps in to assist them and teaches them how to survive.
Students are taught about farming by Misty, survival skills by Marty, and hunting and fishing by Matt.
Season 10: Homestead Rescue Filmed Location
Wyoming, Idaho, Alaska, Virginia, and Washington are among the places where the Homestead Rescue films were shot. Every episode is set in a unique location.
This season, the Raney family travels to five places while overcoming difficult climatic and topographical hurdles.
The Raney family is in charge of planning the rescue operation and constructing a dwelling to withstand the winter.
While filming the pilot episode in Wyoming, the Raney trio is attempting to revitalize a farm.
They are also working to complete the unfinished well that is already on the land for a brand-new, state-of-the-art aquaponic greenhouse.
They eventually move to Idaho, where young people are trying to live off the grid. But, because of their location on a mountaintop, they frequently experience nature’s annoyances, including landslides, grizzly bears, and dried-up soil.
After that, they move to Alaska and get a call from Delta Junction urgently requesting their assistance because a family there is in need despite having a good infrastructure but just basic skills.
The Raneys must help them get through the tough winter to catch a peek of the approaching spring.
So Marty and his family travel to Virginia, where they are forced to help the new homesteaders, whose only shelter is an old bus, in order to survive.
Also, because not even an 11-acre garden has any productive ground, there is nothing to eat.
The party eventually makes their way up to Washington, where they stumble upon a ruined cabin. If it is not repaired soon, the family will feel the wrath of the north winds.

Homestead Rescue Season 10 Cast:
The Homestead Rescue season 10 cast includes most of the Raney family, consisting of Marty Raney, his son Matt Raney, and daughter Misty Raney.
The family’s experienced hunter, Matt Raney, has had encounters with wolves, bears, and other wild animals in Alaska.
Because of his hunting skills, he was able to support his family during the harsh winter in Alaska. In the summer of 2015, he even boasted of having harvested 1,000 pounds of fish, moose, caribou, and sheep.
While Matt is not out hunting, he helps his father with the homestead business.
The 32-year-old Alaskan hunter has spent his entire life learning how to build a homestead and support his family.
Katie, the famous hunter’s wife, supports him in all of his decisions. The couple has constructed their own home next to his father’s house.
In 1974, Marty, an Alaskan housebuilder guide, started his off-grid journey at a logging camp in arid terrain. He even dared to camp on floating ground on Prince of Wales Island.
Later, he married Molle Roestel, and the two went on to have four children together: Misty, Matt, Miles, and Melanee.
The family then moved to Haines, in a remote area of Alaska, to live a private life.
They had to deal with the lack of heat, water, and electricity in such a remote place, but this helped the families develop their expertise, ingenuity, and sense of camaraderie.
Whatever Marty’s children learned while exploring the wilds of Alaska, they learned from their father and other family members.
The Raney family operated a logging and stone business for the family company. In addition, he has skill as a composer, pianist, and mountain climber.
Misty Raney, the newest member of the Raney family, is a skilled farmer as well.
She has a very direct speaking style and is aware of what the homestead requires. The young daughter is also adept at building greenhouses and smokers for growing and cooking food.
Thanks to her knowledge, the family can preserve any produce and make it last for a year. As a result, her family has benefited from not throwing out any food.
She is also skilled at building small-scale items used every day, including mosquito nets, saunas, or even cattle-safe cages to protect them from predators.
Misty is married to surfer and carpenter Maciah Bilodeau. The young child of the couple is five years old.
Misty and her husband spend the summers in Alaska and the winters on Maui.
