Alexandria Cress Borys was a native of the small town of Irmo in South Carolina. She was a wonderful mother to her two boys and a loving wife.
Nursing student Cress wanted to help those in need. She most recently made headlines after regrettably being shot by an unidentified individual during an argument verbal in nature.

When she was just 26 years old, Borys died in the tragic accident. The incident happened on February 14, 2023, in the St. Andrews Road parking lot of the Irmo Kroger.
According to her husband Tyler, Cress went grocery shopping there with her sister-in-law, niece, and nephew.
Tyler asserted that just after loading groceries into her car about 4:00 p.m., his wife and a stranger got into a brawl in the parking lot.
When they were unable to resolve their disagreement verbally, the attacker began firing at Alexandria. After receiving a headshot, Cress instantly died.
Her kids were in her car when the incident happened. She was shot, the gunman fled, but she soon surrendered to the police.
Christina Harrison, the attacker, who is only 23 years old, was identified. She loses control of her anger during their quarrel and shoots her victim.
By 5:30 p.m., Borys was pronounced dead at the scene after Harrison turned himself in to the Irmo Police Department (IPD).

Investigators learned the two ladies did not know one another and were involved in a heated argument previous to the shooting, according to Irmo police, after speaking with witnesses and analyzing security footage.
It’s unclear what sparked the two of them to argue. Irmo’s police chief, Bobby Dale, posted the following on his social media:
“Unfortunately, tempers flared out in this situation, and someone let their wrath control them.
Harrison has since been accused of murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, and unlawful possession during a violent crime.
Christina was scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, but her private attorney withdrew the matter.
